well, not me. but maybe mr. jones. mitch jones, that is. although, as a 31 year-old rookie he is just happy to be playing in the big leagues, i bet.
jones was called up to the dodgers last week. it wasn't his first trip to the majors - he was called up by the joe torre-led yankees in 2006 - but he did make his first appearance in a game, pinch hitting for ronald belisario. alas, mr. jones struck out. but, the next night, he pinch hit for guillermo mota and singled for his first major league hit.
