this 1997 bowman hideo nomo card is one of my favorites. the black border with the red interior border is striking, and the home whites with red number make this card 'pop'. combined with the fact that you can see only nomo's eyes and he is coming out of the most compact stage of his unorthodox windup, there is a real sense of power, balance, and mystery.
this card reminds me of just how dominant nomo was early in his career. it's perfect.
