people have been wrong before...

as the dodgers begin postseason play today, the great prognosticators have looked into their crystal (base)balls and declard them to be the underdogs. despite having the best record in the league, as well as the greatest run differential, many people expect them to lose to the cardinals. and they may well do just that.

but keep in mind things don't always go according to plan. take a look at the 1966 world series program cover on this 2004 topps insert.apparently, dodger domination was predicted, but the orioles swept the series, including 3 straight shutouts.

let's hope this year's underdog prevails.

Phillies and Dodgers rematch in the NLCS. Phillies of course in the World Series.
