bill reidy, another superba double dipper

i must confess that i missed bill reidy when i compiled my list of dodger franchise double dippers a couple of years ago.  luckily, i came across the sheet upon which his 1990 target card was featured and my oversight was negated.
bill reidy was a double dipper.

[this is the eightieth installment in the double dippers posts.  here are the previous posts - brett butler, omar daaleric young, nick willhitechris gwynn, mickey hatcherdave anderson, don zimmerrafael landestoy, dave hansen, jose vizcaino, hideo nomo, greg maddux, mike madduxjon garland, chan ho parkvicente romogene mauch, denny lewallyn, von joshua, joe moellerdioner navarro, rudy seanez, bart shirleyrandy wolf, ismael valdes, bobby castillo, mike devereaux, pete richert, jay johnstone, jesse orosco, lee lacy, giovanni carrara, jeff weaverted sizemore,  orel hershisertom goodwinjoe fergusoneddie murraymatt lukeken mcmullen, tim wallach, jerry grotedon suttonralph branca, todd hundley, elmer dessensguillermo motajoe beckwithjamie hoffmannbabe hermanjoe medwickjuan castroron perranoskiclyde kingpaul wanerhughie jenningsron negray, broadway aleck smithgeorge smith, johnny cooney, jim faireyfrenchy bordagaraydoc casey, waite hoytluis olmoclyde sukeforthwillie keeler,  harry howellgermany smithjohnny allenmarv rackleybobo newsom, maury wills, dazzy vance, ray hayworthzack taylorjohn croninart herring, and brian falkenborg.]

his career began in 1896 with the new york giants, but he joined the superbas in 1899.  reidy pitched in two games for brooklyn that year, winning one and 'saving' the other, but moved on to hugh duffy's milwaukee brewers where he pitched during the 1901 season.  reidy remained with the franchise when it moved to saint louis in 1902 (becoming the browns) and pitched for them in to the 1903 season before rejoining brooklyn.  reidy was 6-7 for the superbas in 1903, and then 0-4 in 1904, his final season in the big leagues.

i thought that there were only two more double dippers to feature, but i've found at least one more in the target set, other than reidy. stay tuned.
