one week is all it took for leondaus lacy to sign and return his 1978 topps card. lee was originally drafted by the dodgers in 1969, and played for them in a backup and super-utility role from 1972 to 1975. after the 1975 season, he was traded to the braves in the deal that brought dusty baker to the dodgers, but the dodgers re-acquired lacy less than a year later (along with elias sosa), trading dr. mike marshall to atlanta.
in the 1978 world series, lacy was the dodgers' primary dh and managed just 2 hits and 1 rbi in 14 at bats. after the 1978 season, lacy signed with the pirates and later finished his career with the orioles. lacy currently operates a baseball academy in woodland hills. i did include a donation to the academy along with my ttm request.

Wouldn't it be cool if he signed his real first name "Leondus"?
OK, maybe not.
