things seemed so much simpler back in 1989 when john was featured along with dodger stadium on this nice 1989 donruss card.

now, smoltz takes his 3000 strikeouts and "whatever the team needs from me" attitude to boston. at least it's the original home of the braves.

so, who do you blame? smoltz? the braves? the red sox? glavine for leaving first and showing it can be done? society? chalk it up to reality, i guess.
